This candle was masterfully crafted with gel wax. Yes, it qualifies as vegan, but why gel wax? Gel wax is made from mineral oil and a petroleum-based byproduct, meaning it takes decades, if not longer to fully biodegrade. However, the petroleum industry would produce the same amount of this byproduct regardless of if it was utilized for gel candles. Thus, I have come to the conclusion that cleanly burning the byproduct to enhance the ambiance of a home is far better than discarding the byproduct in unprotected environments where it can cause the most damage. I hope you will agree, and will consider helping me protect the environment by reducing the amount of petroleum byproduct that can gum-up our world - one beautiful candle at a time. 

These candle tins are 2.4 inches tall and 3.1 inches in diameter, so it is best suited for smaller rooms or spaces to enjoy its fragrance to the fullest. It boasts an average burn time of 40 hours, notably 2-3 times longer than non-gel candles of the same size, and performs best when burned in 2-4 hour increments.

~ All candles are fire hazards. Purchasing this candle is proof of agreement that you understand the risks for yourself and/or the giftee in burning the candle and agree to the following safety precautions to prevent fire and/or serious injury:
-Candles should be kept away (out of reach from) children and pets.
-Lit candles are to be under constant supervision until extinguished.
-Any provided packaging and/or lids are not safe to extinguish candles with.
-The wick will be trimmed to 1/4 inch before lighting. 
-The candle will be kept free of foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings.
-The candle will only be burnt on a level, fire resistant surface.
-The candle will not be burned longer than a 4-hour sitting.
-The candle will be kept away from drafts and shaking.
-The candle will not be tipped while burning or recently after burning.
-The candle will never be burnt on or near anything that can catch fire easily.
-The candle itself as well as the container may be hot during or after burning. Keep body parts (such as 
 fingers) and objects away from candles and containers until they are cool.
-Matches are to be used by adults only and can cause injury including burns.
-Candles under no circumstances should be consumed, make eye contact, or have prolonged skin contact.
